About Us

Welcome to TextlyDate

Hi, I’m Caihong, the person behind TextlyDate.com. I started this site because dating questions rarely have simple answers, yet people keep asking the same ones: What should I text back? How do I know if they’re interested? What do I say on a first date?

TextlyDate exists to give you clear, practical, human answers to those questions, without the hype, the pressure, or one-size-fits-all rules.

Who I Am

I have eight years of experience in the dating niche, and in that time I’ve written about, researched, and talked through how modern relationships begin. Alongside this site, I also work as a coach at a university.

Those two sides of my work shape how I write: I care about advice that is thoughtful, realistic, and something you can actually use the same day.

What You’ll Find on TextlyDate

  • Dating advice for meeting people, building connection, and moving at a pace that feels right for you
  • Texting tips for starting conversations, keeping them natural, and knowing what to say (and when)
  • First date guides covering ideas, conversation, confidence, and what to do afterward
  • Answers to common dating questions, explained plainly and without judgment
  • Relationship topics that help you understand yourself and your dating patterns

My Approach

Good dating advice should be honest and respectful, both to you and to the person you’re talking to. I don’t believe in manipulation tactics or scripts that promise guaranteed results. Every person and every connection is different, so I focus on principles you can adapt, clear examples, and options you can choose from.

If an article leaves you with a better idea of what to say, what to ask, or how to feel more at ease, it has done its job.

Who This Site Is For

TextlyDate is for singles across the United States and beyond: people getting back into dating, people who feel stuck in the texting stage, and anyone who wants to approach dating with more clarity and confidence.
